We’re currently seeking a Marketing Analyst who will perform a range of functions in support of business intelligence, marketing initiatives, interpreting data, program evaluation, and market research. This position oversees several ongoing analytics projects and adhoc data requests for housefile modeling, as well as supports senior managers on all other business initiatives including but not limited to: prospect modeling, credit risk screening, circulation and sales analysis by channel, new sales generation initiatives, and other miscellaneous business requests. Responsibilities also include development of improved and consistent business reporting and enterprise affinity maintenance.  This position will also be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies as well as analyzing data, drafting business reports and issuing reports on an ongoing basis.

 

How you will contribute:

  • Working with the business units and outside data providers, support the use of various modeling techniques to improve circulation strategies, sales, and credit screening.   

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets; General data analysis and business reporting of marketing or client behavior trends that demonstrate opportunities to improve efficiencies or generate incremental revenue.

  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks supporting senior level analysts or systems maintenance for reporting

What you will bring and skills that excite us:

  • Bachelors’ Degree required in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related studies.
  • 1-2+ years’ experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be a self-starter with creative problem solving, intellectual curiosity
  • Knowledge of direct marketing industry
  • Some experience with SAS or SQL or experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
